Low Calorie Vegetarian Recipes

Bahamas Party

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of ice cold skim milk

  • 2 Tablespoons of slivered almonds (add last)

  • 1 ripe, peeled banana

  • ½ teaspoon of REAL almond extract

  • 2-4 ice cubes

  • 1-3 packets of Splenda or Equal if extra sweetness is desired

How To Make:

  • Simply blend all the ingredients above in a blender EXCEPT the almonds unless you prefer them chopped to smithereens.  
  • When thick, pour your Bahama into a chilled glass and stir in the slivered almonds.
