Low Calorie Vegetarian Recipes

Flax Seed Mayonnaise

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup ground flax seeds

  • 14 cup warm water

  • 2½ tbs apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered mustard

  • 2 teaspoons Celtic Sea Salt

  • 2 heaped tsp chopped garlic

  • 1 tsp dried chives (or fresh)

  • 2 tsp dried parsley (or fresh)

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

How To Cook:

  1. Blend ground flax seeds with water in a blender or food processor until thick.

  2. Add vinegar, mustard, Sea Salt and blend.

  3. Add garlic and herbs and blend well.

  4. With blender or food processor running, drizzle olive oil in slowly to form an emulsion. Allow to cool before serving.
